Origins of the Chakras
Dec 22, 2020
Historical Sanskrit texts originating from the 10th century were some of the first known instructions for meditating on the chakras. It wasn't until the translated texts from Swami Purnananda, an advanced yogi in 1577, that demonstrated the power of the energy in each chakra. These texts formed the basis of our understanding of chakra theory and Kundalini yoga today.
Nearly 450 years ago, Swami Purnananda gave humanity a guide showing that if we take a few moments each day to sit and meditate on the chakras, we can liberate ourselves from attachments and desires that ultimately cause our suffering. This practice creates a pathway allowing us to transcend our physical form, merging with divine energy and connecting us an eternal cosmic oneness. Honor Your Spirit.
