Frankincense has a long history as a sacred, mystical fragrance, dating back 6,000 years. In ancient times, Frankincense was burned inside churches, temples and mosques. Derived from the gum-resin of the Boswellia tree, commonly found in dry Middle Eastern countries, this earthy, sweet aroma enhance mood by reducing stress and anxiety while improving concentration and memory. Complex and wonderfully balanced, pine, spice and balsam merge with the soft, sweet aroma of citrus notes.

Equal parts mystical and modern, Myrrh is resinous and slightly medicinal. Harvested from the resin of Commiphora trees, the warm, spicy, amber aroma of Myrrh has a long history as a sacred anointing oil. Best known as one of the three gifts brought by the wise men to be presented to Baby Jesus, Myrrh is reminiscent of black licorice and warm anise.
